Middleham Castle in Wensleydale was once home to Richard Duke of Gloucester, best know as King Richard III. It was a beautiful fortress but never saw battle.
Middleham: A Castle Made for Kings is a guided tour of the castle as it is today and as it was in the 15th Century. Running time: 48 minutes. It was previously released as Middleham Castle: A Royal Residence. PAL copies of this film sold out three times over, so when the time came to duplicate another batch an updated version was produced. NTSC stock of Middleham Castle: A Royal Residence is still going strong and does not justify the cost of duplicating the new version at this time. So two versions are available.
